Looks like I got hosed on my cooling system. I need to get a new sensor and electric fan. Running a 350 with 400 hp. What should I run for a sensor cut in, cut out temperature? Any brands I should use or avoid? Need a puller fan as well, mine doesn't move enough air. Tested things last night, not a water pump pu...

Thinking of switching from carb to fuel injection. Any suggestions on complete kits. Reviews are all over the map. I would like something that looks like a carb.

Just starting to play with this idea. My header collector is 2". Should I continue with a complete 2" exhaust or go bigger? Motor puts out 400 hp and the same in torque.

Here is a picture of my A/C and alternator and power steering. The belts in the picture are wrong, it was to check and see if it looked right. I am wondering what is the best way to have the belts. Option # 1 one belt goes from the A/C to the crank to the water pump and back to the A/C. That is the line of groove...

Hello: I have been trying to make tight bends in fuel line for my gas tank breather line. So far I purchased two different pipe benders but they don't make tight bends. Long story short - I found a way. Perhaps a lot of old hands here know of better ways but this works too. I took a short length of metal fu...

I installed my steering shafts onto my corvette rack and pinion. Thought I had it all lined up. Everything worked was very happy until I turned the steering wheel lock to lock. One way I get 1 1/4 rotations and the other way I get 1 1/8 rotations. If I adjust the rods that go to the spindles to match the r...

Hello: Is there a check list I could follow to ensure I have done all the correct things to ensure my car is properly set for winter in a cold garage ? I know I should put the car on dollies so the rubber is off the concrete and I plan to take the battery in the house and charge it once a month. What else should...

I am currently looking at a 74 F250 with a FT360 and 3 spd automatic. The motor has 45K miles on it. It is all original with the two barrel. If this comes to pass, I want to leave the engine pretty well stock but would like to get better gas mileage. I would consider changing to FiTech two barrel EFI. Has...

I nearly lost the end of a finger fighting with the filler hose from Canadian Tire. It's reinforced with steel and doesn't bend easily. I see there is clear 2" fuel filler hose at a site called KAR TEK. Is it safe or legal to use that type of hose? It doesn't appear to be reinforced at all. Does anyone r...

I think I messed up again. Does it matter where in the fuel system the fuel filter goes? Between the tank and fuel pump or between the pump and the carb? I have the mechanical fuel pump if that makes any difference.

Can anyone help me please? I have a universal fuel gauge sending unit from Princess Auto. The only way I could get the unit into the tank was to bend the thin metal rod on which the float sits. Good Morning Everyone, I've been reading a lot lately about superchargers. I have a question.... Is compression just plain compression and doesn't matter how it got there?.
