Just starting to play with this idea.  My header collector is 2".  Should I continue with a complete 2" exhaust or go bigger?  Motor puts out 400 hp and the same in torque.

        See what 'room' you have for 2 1/4   2 1/2 .Going over the rear axle? Or out the side in front or behind back wheel? More things to consider/             examine smile

The factory never saw any need to go over 2" on their dual exhausted high HP engines. Unless you want the rattle can sound. A couple of Porter mufflers would make it sound great.

Going from a 2" collector to a 2.5" pipe will act like a megaphone. Collector should be 3" into 2.5" pipes.
