OK, I think I'll try taking off my old Holley 2 barrel and clean it myself.  MAYBE.  The thing is, it is so dirty, I can't rely on it.  I have a new intake and a triple deuce but I want to get in some drive time this summer and if I screw up installing the triple, I won't have driven anywhere except to the transmission shop and back.  Just a few nice runs would be a treat before tearing everything apart and hoping for the best.  So my question is, who makes a good video for learning how to clean an old Holler 2 barrel ?  Or is it wise to take it to a shop.  I have no idea what the cost is to have it cleaned but a guy down the street said he could do it (at a cost, of course).  Opinions ?  The transmission shop took a good chunk of cash so if I can, I'd like to save a bit where I can.

You need to fully disassemble and rebuild it.
Get a rebuild kit, take lots of pics as you go, place all parts in order upon disassembly.
Not too tough.

An example of a kit:

Thank you 123Pugsy. I will check it out. Sounds like another challenge; another learning experience.
