Hi everyone,

I have not got out to the garage much this winter, but I got a few things done.

I welded the rear cross brace to the frame rails, also started to make cross bracing for the engine compartment as well.

Hi everyone,
It's been awhile since I have posted so here goes......First I mocked up paper patterns , then out of metal.

I made inner fender supports with flat bar (1/8) then made a t pattern on them

I got most of the export brace done now and also got the motor mounts fully welded.

Hi everyone,

I have been working the center console , first I made a wooden frame work , then a paper pattern.

Next came a 1/4 inch solid round bar as an inner frame work . Then the sheet metal to cover it up.

I used the original console  cover from the car.

I'm becoming very envious Dennis, your Falcon is really coming along. Who's coupe is tucked in there?

Hi Matchless, that would be mine . I had it storage for years and finally brought it home , I didn’t have the room when was building the car. It is a 1928 Ford Model A special coupe , I found it in the Old auto’s newspaper years ago. It has a 350 Chevy with a 700r4 transmission. It is all steel except for the fenders. I filled in the roof as well.

Hi everyone, I have been working on the engine compartment for the last months as well as the floor pan finishing it up. I find that I can only stay in the garage for a little while because of the fumes from the bondo I have a box fan that I use to get the air moving around better Dennis

Hi everyone, I have been working on the driveshaft loop cover to clean it up in that area. I have put a bead around it just to dress it up, when the weather gets warmer i'll finish it off. I also made some holes to put my emergency brake cables and use rubber grommets to protect the cables.

Hi everyone, I have been working on the rear end lately. I had an old engine stand up in the loft {garage} so I thought that I would make a jig to hold the housing on . it would make it easier to work on since i don't have a lot of floor space in the garage.

Hi Pugsly, & matchless thanks for your response, I build the engine stand fixture a while ago. No offense on the “hoop“ comment, I was out in the garage today and working on the rocker panel and also made a bulkhead connector the other day.
