Yes,..was looking at those earlier, tmj. Went to look at a Model A street rod today,....the guy stated in his email $18K OBO,...I made him my best offer which was $1000. below his asking price,..and he all of a sudden decided he was going to reneg on the OBO deal,..and now stay at $18000.00 firm,...so I walked.

I went there with it in mind,..and cash in my pocket,..that I was going to make one offer,..and if he turned it down, end of discussion,..I ain't going to beg anyone to buy their vehicle. Model A Coaches are not a big market car to begin with,.. and this one apparently is running a 255 Ford engine ( boat anchor ), which also is a price crusher,...plus other things that I knew I would be changing had I bought the car,...and it was just adding up to way more then the car was worth.

Now I'm thinking that mybe I would like to round up a real nice little '53 / '54 Chevy 2 door post,..and an equally good 348 engine, and 4 speed, to mate up with the car.
