Finally found a use for this pole in my basement!

About to start some home reno's so thought I'd hang this street light a buddy gave me.

Some muffler clamps and pipe worked just fine.

We used to call them stop lights.
We had to be home when the street lights came on.

I used to have one of those .. I have no idea what ever happened to it..I don't think it's in the barn..A little white paint on the bracket and piping and it will look better.. then a little creative stripping and it will be a work of art..Looks cool.

well I'm probably going to grind off all the paint on the pole when I start renovating the basement. not sure yet, still figuring some stuff out. Pallet board 'accent' wall where the tv is etc.

I'm sure you probably know which pallets are safe to use Nick but just in case, check out what stamps mean.

The light looks good there. Good idea to mount it by the bathroom door.
