Not street rods or collectable, but our summer daily drivers.  The wife kept taking my little red truck, so we fixed one up for her own use and are ready for summer. On to the next project.

Nice job ..Both are great looking trucks.

I have a reg. cab 4cyl. loaded that I drive everyday and for part time work. I think GM hit a homerun with these little trucks.

Thanks guys, but I can't take all the credit. She worked her ass off. I always had a list for her when I was leaving for work like sanding.. Lots and lots of sanding. lol Now I'm trying to get the emission test.. This truck has been sitting for 5 years before I got it. Having problems with not ready status for secondary air. I guess I will just keep driving and hoping. No codes yet, but what a pain.

I was told you need to drive for about 80km when they have been sitting. Worked for us on a little Neon. I think I like the wife's truck better of the 2. Nice job she did on it... (and you)

Thanks GMDad. We drove the truck a few hundred K's so far. Scanner shows everything is good but the secondary air not ready. No code. I would think if it was a fuse or the pump it would give a code. I might have to buy another trip permit before figuring this thing out.

I hope so. I'm reading people have a hard time getting secondary AIR to trigger ready. Some say weeks, some say months.
