Will you be finishing this for your current bride Joe, or is this for the next one..I was thinking of the time schedule biggrin Guess I shouldn't talk I have a 28 roadster sitting in my barn for 20 years now and my time has passed to finish it .. It will have to find a new home soon I guess.. Nice truck.. I was noticing that Chev Wood.. I remember that crummy wood from my 36 Chev.. They used to much wood in those pre 37 chevs.. It made for a lot more hours to replace the wood with steel..I see from other pics that you are actually well on the way with it..good job you have some nice stuff you must have a fair sized shop at home to squeeze all those projects in..

I'd love to build a traditionalish kinda roadster Chuk. Can't afford it and don't know how to do it, but I'd love to do something like that one day, maybe drive it to the race of gentleman. lol

You have two of the nicest toys ever,...not a pickup truck fan,...but that little '34 is absolutely Kickass !! Done up,..that '33 - 3 Window is going to be friggin' Awesome too !! I believe that there is a '33 Chevy 3 window just a bit over West of me for sale,...seen it on Kijiji once or twice awhile back,...the owner doesn't seem to be pushing it at all,..so it must be the wife's idea to sell. Great photo's, and Thank You for sharing.

I sen that 33 34 coupe on kijijj. He was asking way to much money for it as it was missing a lot of expensive parts.

Parts for these 33 34 chevs are expensive and hard to find.

The rockers under the doors were missing , 750.00 to 1000.00

A pair if you can find them .

Trunk lid  500.00 to 1000.00

Window moldings  1000.00

Rad shell 500.00

Hood  700.00

I have bought and sold this stuff a long time as I also had a 34 5 window for a while.

If I remember right he was asking 5500.00

Not sure there was a frame either.

Sorry 33 guy,...I should have mentioned, the '33 that I was referring to is a street rod /  turn key vehicle. I believe the address of the seller was listed as West Lorne , Ont.,...but just by chance one day, I happened by the residence where that '33 was parked in a garage,..and it was much closer to # 3 highway, just west of St.Thomas. It is all steel and a solid Burgundy in color. I believe that it was listed on either London, or Windsor Kijiji. The owner was asking a fairly long $$ for this one too, but it was a real decent looking car.

Cool projects! Don't chop the truck...seems more original not to chop 30's trucks these days...

Well the truck is coming along slowly .

Got the 230 pontiac overhead cam motor installed and located where it needs to be with the 200r4 transmission.Working on what to do with the firewaĺl now as the engine extends 2 inches past.Leaning towards replacing the firewall .already welded up 23 holes in it too. Still got to hook up a lokar shifter from a 700r4 .locate the brake and master under the floor
