Thanks for posting..It would greatly appreciated if you could do a small intro so the members to know a little more about you and truck..although it is not required it is appreciated by everyone and it allows new members to read up on who and what your interests are.. I bought one identical for my wife in 1975 / '76,..top notch condition,..3 on the tree,..six banger,..she loved the thing,..and it kept going forever. Seen it sitting at a GM dealership in their compound on a Saturday morning,...stopped in and had a look at it,...the owner of the dealership was there who vaguely I knew ,..asked him if it ran,..." yep,..the guy just brought it in on trade friday !! ",..he fired it up and it was quiet as all getout,..tires like new,..no rust,..paint good,...asked him what the price was on it,..( he hadn't really given it any thought yet ),..." but what would I offer him for it on a Saturday morning ?? ",...I just fired off a quick BS offer of $450.00,...he snapped back with " Make it an even $500.00 ( cash, no cheques no fuss ) and drive'er home,..I'll loan ya a dealer plate !! ",...I was all of about 20 minutes getting to the bank and back. That old relic was as solid as a rock.
