My middle son was up for the weekend.  He is the one you have seen welding on my truck.  He is into autocross with his daily driver.  Started a couple of years ago.  Last year put a performance chip in as well as a rear sway bar.  It may have been a bigger one, not sure.  Going hard into the corners he can life the rear wheel off the ground.  He decided to buy some coilover shocks and last weekend was up and the two of us spent the weekend doing this.  Oh forgot, this is a diesel wagon.

Rears went first, figuring they were easier.

And then the fronts.  They were a bit harder to do.

Race tires on and back outside for a picture.

We had a great time together, while my wife and his girlfriend did chick things.  May not be a big thing for some of you guys but for us it was way outside our comfort zone.  Son was great, had instructions and found torque spec's as needed.  Even kept him off the phone while the work was going on.

Monday the car went to town for an alignment and then back to Guelph.

Oh, almost forgot.  While driving up here on Friday they hear something go bang.  Son says, "that sounds like a rear spring" sure enough it was.  got that just in time and helped him justify the cost of the kit.
