Boy you sure do know your metal.  I bent the metal over my thigh just a bit and it was just enough.  All the pieces are sloppy because I cut them large and strapped them to hold them but it looks to me like they will form close.  Kind of worried about the final cuts in case I cut too much but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.  It appears that cutting the center section will be best left last as all the others are coming together.  The bottom didn't even need a strap.  I marked lines for cutting and/or bending.

Thank you Chris. I am a slow, cautious learner but I am learning ( a lot by mistakes) but still, I'm learning. And it sure is fun.
