Anyone have any old style paint stripper. The new no toxic stuff just doesn't work. The stripper made pre 2018 still had the two heavy duty chemicals in it. Looking for stripper that has been on the shelf for a while.

What are you wanting to strip paint off of?

I have used this stuff to strip valve covers and other engine parts with success.

Brush it on and wait a few minutes

I recall using an aerosol Stripper that had no issue removing the paint off a SBC.

Loctite® Chisel® 79040 Paint Stripper

I have used the Heirloom product before, along with two or three other brands. The stuff you get today has no Methylene Chloride witch is the nasty stuff that makes it work. Retailers took it off the shelf early 2019. I'm stripping my 60 Corvette that has 2 paint jobs over the original. I had a gallon of the "Real Stuff" and it wasn't quite enough. Was hoping someone had some they bought 1-10 years ago and never used it all.

Have you taken a look at www.aircraftspruce.ca

The MSDS shows that this contains DICHLOROMETHANE (DCM or methylene chloride)
