The Pelham Summerfest car show is back!   For those who don’t know about Summerfest, it runs over the 3rd weekend of July each year, and this year it’s from Thursday July 18th to Sunday the 21st.  If you’ve never been to this area it’s in the lovely little town of Fonthill in the Niagara Region just south of St. Catharines, about 30 minutes west of Niagara Falls.  This area is really beautiful and it’s in the heart of wine country if you’re so inclined.

There will be great live Blues bands playing in the on-site band shell, (the music alone is worth the visit), wine and beer sales, a seating area and shade tent, a kid’s play area, retail vendors, food vendors, and lots of support services (EMS, washrooms, security, crowd control, etc.).  There will be trophies (participant’s choice) plus sponsor trophies.  The cost is only 10 bucks for the car – the driver and passengers are free.

The 4 day 2019 Summerfest festival in Fonthill is behind us now and the Sunday car show was another great success. This isn’t a big show in numbers but it’s huge on quality. Everyone enjoyed the good weather and the live blues bands kept everyone entertained. (On the first day of the festival, a 12 piece band kept over 4,000 people jumping with the music in the band shell – how many events can say that!). Keep the third weekend of July open for Summerfest next year and you won’t be disappointed. Cheers.

We were there for a few hours on Sat morning. Really hot but the grandson had a good time. Nice event.
