Dont think its project thread worthy, so well stick it in here
Did a few little upgrades on the 87 to get it ready for the Camaro Nationals.
This year was cool because they had a Camaro only track day at Mosport.
Spent the day thrashing the car, and everything that Ive done held up and performed
very well. Certainly exciting to see that this thing worked as good as it did.
Finally got around to replacing the front springs with some V8 ones.
Went with lowering springs for the sake of it. Put in new strut mounts.
And the most noticable of them all, 14" Brembo brakes from a 5th gen SS.
Holy Crap do they work well. We had 0 brake fade at the track, and they worked fantastic.
Ill try and get a couple fly by videos up when my buddy sends em over, but Ill throw some pics from the show up.
Nice work Ben lookin' Good! There's nothing like Good disc brakes to 'whoa' the Monster.
Hope to see you and your Dad sometime this summer,

Burnout was getting rid of some junky 295s.
The next three videos are from the track day that I never got around to doing untill now. Should be 10 or so minutes of morning viewing material.
Some action shots from the photographer with the car nosediving with the rake and massive front brakes.
New Intake Setup to replace the old restricted one. New exhaust routing and proper hangers this time as the exhaust broke recently. Getting better at aluminum tig welding.
Nice work Ben!!
