I am having trouble deciding on my interior for the 67 Chevy 2 Sedan.  The theme is Late 70's early 80's Grandma's Sedan turned into weekend warrior sonto speak.  The good thing and bad thing is that the car came with some new interior parts which saves money but since Sedan parts where no available 25 yrs ago, I have a bit of a problem.  I have bright blue SS door panels, carpet, headliner, package shelve.  Trouble is the Sedan didn't come with bright blue.  So now that they make a Sedan rear seat cover, it doesn't match the rest of the car.  I might be able to get a 66 Sedan cover in bright blue though, they are checking.  Anyway enough with the background info.

I am installing fibre glass racing seats in the front which are black.  This is a done deal.  Now the question is .... Would it look better black racing seat with black back seat with everything else bright blue or be more appropriate for it to be black racing seats with blue back seat if I can get it.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Rich

Thanks John. I kinda felt that the blue back seat would be more with the theme of the car but not sure if it would look the best. I imagined a kid putting a fibreglass hood with snorkel, intake, headers, exhaust, traction bars, rachet shifter, V8, and tossing the bench seat for a couple fibreglass seats. But I was only 9 or 10 yrs old back then. Lol.

I would use the blue back seat if available. Will have the poor kid wants to race look to it.

Thanks for your opinion. I tend to agree. Parts unfortunately won't be in stock so I still have time to think about it and won't be getting them this trip.

Why not use the blue back seat and get an upholsterer to sew up the covers for the black buckets?

Thanks for the idea.  I may have to inquire at the interior shop.  I have to ask about headliner install as well.
