My Name is Eric and known around the area as Farmer. I have been involved with motorsports and hot rods since I was able to ride in my dads T or bronco or Manta.
I started out with a 1948 Dodge business coupe when i was 14. Moved on to a 1948 cj2a, 1975 cj5. After a few years i put together a 1946 Ford 3 ton off road truck with a cummins diesel on 46" Michelins.
When i was 18 my father and i built a 1927 Model t tudor with a '53 flathead, 3 speed top loader, and a becool rad. Still in the barn most of the time...
I switched gears and dumped the trans and got into racing sprint cars for a couple years till i smashed them up enough to call that quits. Too bad it was a blast.
I now currently have a 1927 T coupe hot rod i drive weather permitting with an ajax sbc, 4" dropped axle, z'd frame, th350 trans, bridged 9" with qa1 coilovers in the rear. Ive had it at a few shows and the Detroit autorama 2017.
I also recently purchased another 1927 T coupe which is 100 percent bone stock as a mate to my hot rod for a before and after scene.
I'm a younger hot rod and vintage car nut and hope the tradition finds a way to continue for many generations.
Welcome from Richmond. Had a legend race car for a couple of years. Loved it but darn near went broke trying to keep it going. Miss the racing but not the homework and politics.
