Well it's official......the 14th ELTA Summer Bash and the ELTA Big GO Drags will be held at the historical St. Thomas Dragway outside Sparta On. coming this Aug 11 & 12. Last year on the Friday alone there was over 215 cars racing and enjoying this "run what you brung" format with some of the hot rods making up to 14 passes that day...lol. This years ELTA BASH/Drags will add the car show, vintage drag car displays, bands, camping, ONDR , Ontario Gasser Association, Ontario Open Wheel Association, NOCCA, matching racing and a Reunion gathering of all the old drag racers that made Ontario Drag Racing great. I'll be posting updates as we go forward in the coming months.....it should be a fun weekend of racing, celebrating our hot rod & drag racing history, sharing good times with new and old friends and the ELTA thanks you all for your continued support......so please mark it on your calendars.....cheers!
That sounds fantastic.. I think it's a great place to hold a ELTA event that size. it's pretty amazing how this "hi-Octane" event has grown It's only a party or two away from being a world event.. And may/could/should, incorporate a big swap meet also .. some time.. maybe

News Flash!!!!...one of the best AA/FD nitro dragsters from the east coast ....the "Comanche" will be coming out to play with the ELTA brothers at this years 14th ELTA Summer Bash & Big GO Drags.....outstanding to have this top rail coming up from the States to join in on the fun.
Great news....Wildman Don Moyer will be bringing his high wheeling 1941 Willys to the ELTA 14th Summer Bash & Big Go Drags this summer. This AMC powered gasser is a crowd pleaser with it's huge wheelis on every start......this is Don's first time to Canada and I just know he'll be wowing the crowd at this years ELTA event.
Great to have Dan and Jim Rini....the original Rini Brothers and their top fueler "the Canadian" coming out to make noise at this summers 14th ELTA Summer Bash & Big Go Drags!!!
Another outstanding American Funny car of Tom & Patti Hunt from Franklin Ohio ..."Flying Purple People Eater" 1974 Vega.....the Gene Snow car will be hazing the rubber at the Big Go Drags!!!
Was out with Don Moyer at the Meltdown Drags last weekend and he is really looking forward to the Bash as are we with the Bantam.

All the ELTA brothers are getting pumped up for the action in another few weeks brother......I'm looking forward to seeing your Bantam run and showing you the old Purple Peolpe Eater....safe travels.....come up on the Friday afternoon..... you'ii be happy to missed all the traffic on the Saturday morning Warren.

Just a outstanding weekend for the 14th ELTA Summer Bash and Big GO Drags...... I've never seen the track that full in years...lol...thanks to all the 1000's that came out from all ove North America (love the guys from Florida) to make it one FUN event.
