Thames Panel Truck

Got a rare project on the go here. Needed this like an  Eskimo needs a freezer. lol. 1950 thames panel truck {e83w}. It is the big brother of the Anglia gasser panel truck from the 60's .Relocating the firewall was quite extensive to accommodate a sbc. Th350 tranny and only a 90" wheelbase. Don't know if i like the side windows ? Do you think i should fill them in ?? Body work is the next to address . Back to you in a while .

Cool. A Gasser panel truck! No windows would be even cooler. Lots of pics please.

I'd get rid of the louvres on the back. The hood louvres are serving a purpose, but the ones' on the back doors just seem to be hanging on there. The Thames could be had with side windows but there was a pillar in the middle. I think someone just removed your pillar. If you are doing this for the street, I think very dark windows or tinted to match the paint. If this is going to be a gasser, fill the windows.

Hello Warren. I'm going to put the panel on the street but want the gasser appearance. I agree with you, the rear louvres have to go. Finding a couple rear doors will be impossible. Kicking the idea   around of one big panel on the back that swings up with a couple hinges at the top . Everyone wants no side windows so they will go also. That Bantam coupe is a rare one. Looking forward to see some pics.

I would fill in the windows and keep the patina.
