Hi all.

I have not been doing anything with my truck for some time now.  Life has gotten crazy busy.  Work has been almost to a point of unbearably busy.  But on top of that we have bought another house.  So now with tow houses of course everything has to break or be changed.  We are still trying to sell the one we are currently in.  Yesterday while working at the new place my wife says there is an old car in the back of the property which got me all excited.  Went for a walk and found it.  Thought I would send out a few pictures to see what you guys think, is it worth saving, no

It appears to have been in a small front end accident.

Hard to see but has the holes in the roof already for a full sunroof.  Handles already shaved.

Inline 6 cylinder motor.  And best of all the interior is already gone.

looks to have a very rare 56 alternator.also early rustoration started most hard work done did not run when parkedbiggrinbiggrin

Looks like the 'Forest' has claimed this '56 chevy. Too bad Marten, you may be able to recover some of your cost of the property by selling what's left! LOL

I'm thinking it was running when parked.  Not sure how it got there when you look at the trees around it.  Very excited though to get it out. 

I bet if I can get a hold of Chip Foose the two of us will get it running as well.biggrinbiggrin

Henry, got a special deal just for you. Have your guys send me say $150,000 in the form of a cheque.  When it passes the bank you and I can pull it out together and then I will take you out for a great supper at the local A and W.  Don't tell anyone else about this deal though as for anyone else it will be much higher.  This is a field find, more rare then a barn find.biggrin

Is the Sunroof a factory option or dealer installed? I wonder if it had a factory 4sp behind that 6, my cousin's dog groomer's aunt's stepsister had the identical car.

Ya might wanna check the Pitman arm. I heard there's a recall on the 55-57's.

The ownership would be worth some.dough 

And wouldnt be hard to get as an abandoned car on your property !!!
