i know there are some airplane guys on here so here is some eye candy for you's, lol. i have mentioned before about the girlfriends sister having 2 sons that fly FA18's, here is the younger of the two at a pre-season meet and greet for the families. he will be gone for the summer flying this jet at airshows for canada's 150th.

the sister, mother of the pilot standing beside her, mathew. her other son josh is a test pilot working his way to hopefully become an astronaut.
i'd love to go for a ride at 1150mph, if it don't kill me, lol. his brother is the pilot who took rick mercer up for one of his shows and he lived through it.

lol, good one mike. i have been dropping hints for awhile now to no avail. some years ago they had one of their airshows here in trenton and i supplied most of the dogs and burgers. the colonel running the show was a lady and i put the pressure on her how to get a ride and she told me if anybody is going for a ride she will be first. that pretty much stopped that effort, lol. i guess the cbc had more pull than she did when they sent mercer up for a ride for one of his shows. lol

i agree with the wow on the pic's, obviously not from someone's cell phone or mine anyway. lol if someone can explain or describe how they got that shot, 6th pic down, with the airflow going over and around the jet in flight i would be curious to know how that works and how much that camera would cost. guessing something to do with shutter speeds, maybe.

i can see this is not going to be just another same ole-same ole family gathering this christmas. i think i heard that josh, the older brother/ now astronaut, is canada's youngest lieutenant-colonel, ever.
man i am glad this is just a family gathering for christmas and there is no gifts exchanged. what the hell would you get them? maybe a couple of timmie's cards in exchange for a ride in one ---lmao
