good pic's, thanks. i know a couple of places not too far out the back door that would be of a similar setting. might be a good day to go for a walk if the sun comes out and before the guns come out next week. you kinda take it for granted until you see it on the screen in front of ya.

There was a bunch of guy with Corvettes from the Toronto area coming north for a run a couple of weeks ago. Living up here I offered to run the northern route to confirm road conditions etc. There is a road, Muskoka Beach Road that runs north from Gravenhurst to Highway 118. I took the road and came over the crest of a steep hill to find a woman in an SUV sitting right in the middle of the road with her cell phone out the window taking a video.
The Corvette is low cutting down visibility so my options in dealing with a stopped SUV were limited. I moved to the oncoming lane just as she decided to move over to that lane to get a better shot. The leaves were beautiful this year the drivers not so much. Scared the crap out of me and I was not going over the speed limit. Stupid people.
The " Carson Side Road " Junior,....and if you look to the extreme Left of the very bottom photo ( at the very edge of the photo along the tree line ),....that is the exact spot where they found the body of a very good friend of mine that a low life murdered in that exact spot, back in December 1973.
didn't want to bring back those memories.
