Good Guy Recognition and Thank-you

I have a couple really good guys to thank and give great Kudos to.. "Henry AKA Henry"s Toys" Big thank you for a huge help.. I have been in the process of a big change in my life With my Poor wife being diagnosed with dementia earlier this spring.. We used to do a little traveling with our motor home but She is no longer able to do that. I sold the motor home in July and bought a Trailer to set up at my Daughters place ..I have had a very busy summer trying to get it put onto a dug-out stone pad and finding and installing a septic system, and this week-end I am heading back to Merrickville to fill in the weeping bed trenches, and trench in the wiring, and water supply to the trailer . We plan to use it as a summer cottage and a respite for Diane and I so my daughter can help me as this rotten disease progress's .. It has been eating me up emotionally,  for $ and time and trying to keep the home place maintenance up..I think we are past the hump with trailer and I ask for your prayers that Diane is very slow to get worse. After 56 years married I am missing the way things were..Appreciate your wife or husband as much as you can while you can.. I sure never seen this coming, I can't say how lonely I am feeling with this change in our life..

First good guy stepped up with a great help.."Henry" has offered up his little mini Tractor so I can get the trench's filled in then dig the trench for water and wiring.. And that's not all He is delivering it to us as I have no truck or trailer down there in that area.. That's a huge deal and I can't thank him enough.. Thanks big time Henry.. number1.gif  number1.gif

And another good guy award to Red Oak Greg.. Who just showed up here at my shop last Monday in the heat and humidity to help me replace front struts and springs and bearings on my Acura and redo all 4 wheels with new brakes, rotors, pads, calipers.  It was terrible hot and humid every day.. I am very grateful for the help and the company.. Thanks Greg.. your help was appreciated handshake.gif handshake.gif

It has been a busy summer with too many things for me and I am so grateful for all the help and especially to those who stepped up above the call and have been there when I needed the help..

Chuk

Don,
Stop over Friday morning and I'll take you up, make sure to bring boots and work gloves as it won't be a pure social visit.

I knew it was that four letter word, Chuck was an easy guy to work with, even had regular water breaks for the minions.

Hi Old-koot-Don: Thanks for your help and good to finally meet you. You don't resemble the picture I had envisioned you to be.. I guess visual  imaginations are not to be locked into your mind.. Well we completed almost all the work. we needed .. except we were short about 4 ft of wire to reach the service panel. So I need to get a junction box to install about 4 ft from the panel and install that and then hook into the service panel.. we miss-judged the length ..We got into a little trouble on Saturday with a minor electrical issue on the tractor, and we had to find a dealer to get some hydraulic fluid and then we got rained out So Saturday was a bust we just got in a couple hrs.. We don't work on Sunday ..It's the Lords day , We got a great day in on Monday .. I had to come home on Tuesday I will be heading back down on Friday to finish up and just have some leveling and and a bit of cleaning up and leveling the dirt .. and install the junction box..I could never have done it with-out that little machine of Henry's..Now I have to convince him to sell it to me.. I still have a ton of landscaping to do there and put in an in ground pool  for my Arthritis .. and We will need to build a shop for us down there next summer..I will probably buy one of those Quonset metal buildings for a shop.. Hell I doubt i have to many years left anyway and for sure not many to crawling around old cars.. but I do need a place to tinker on my coupe when I take it down next summer.. Thanks for coming by to help.. and it was great to meet.. We may even get to have a cold one next summer as you are only about 15 mins from my summer cottage now..

Was great getting to meet your and your son-in-law, you got a lot done in a short time. Many people prefer a jetted hot tub to a pool for soaking those sore joints, could set it up on the deck right at the trailer, also a lot quicker to set-up and drain for the winter, just get one with a propane heater not electric!

Hot tub sounds great , but being a fat guy I need the swimming exercise..I would have to leave the hot tub half-empty to avoid it spilling all over the deck.. I would take up half the volume of the hot tub..biggrin

I have to say thank you to Henry.." Henry's-Toys"  from here.

The use of his little mini tractor and back-hoe was really helped us get things done with out the pressure of a equipment rental place as they would not let us have that machine as long as we were able to use Henrys on our own time. That took a lot of pressure off me to be able to work at a slower pace to do a better job instead of having to rush the job.. At my age I am a lot slower and have a much longer recovery time biggrin.. Thank you very much Henry That was a stand up thing to let us use that machine and you were more than generous on your rate.. I really appreciated that..I hope I can return a favor somewhere down the road.. Thanks again..

Chuk

Thanx Chuck: Chuck comes over to help me with my tractor, I had a fire in the engine compartment had to change the starter change out a couple of wires and needed a new glass fuel sediment bowl. I have to admit I would not of been able to get it running with out reading how to bleed the fuel lines. Chuck set it up bled them out and we have a running engine. He took his time I enjoy working with him any time but his wife could of used him as she was not feeling well to day. Thanks Chuck could not of done it with out your help
