Great looking bird but not sure how good they are to eat. Some wildlife ministry might have something to say as well.

A couple of years ago we had one follow us around the lake while we fished. We were using minnows and when they stopped moving (the minnows), we'd change out the dead minnow for a live one. This "mooch" (the name we gave him) enjoyed devouring the dead ones. Pretty smart.
