I'll try. lol I never end up taking enough pictures. Last event I went to was really cool one with a lot of cars I hadn't seen around before and the only thing I took a picture of was the table of homemade pies....
It really was a great show. Was worth the drive! Weather was great during the day but we had some rain friday night. That's when I found out the tent I borrowed wasn't water proof....
Good to know, I'm curious as to why it was removed. Blowers themselves aren't cheap, let alone setting up the engine itself to utilize the blower (blower pistons etc). Cool looking car regardless though.
The engine hydro locked last fall and slightly bent a rod. It is sitting on the engine stand waiting to be rebuilt. I built both the blower engine and the carb engine at the same time, so luckily I had a backup. Haven't really decided how to proceed, but it will be different next Spring. I was hoping no one would notice.
If the guy in the white shirt is who I think he is, why isn't he at Bonneville? With Bonneville being cancelled the last two years (and its future iffy), I woulda thunk that he'd have jumped at the chance to race there once again.
I attended for the fourth time, two at Rockton and two at Durham. The guys put on a fabulous event and I appreciate what they do and there enthusiasm. Better every year. Thanks guys.
