Our Hydro rates ?

Just wondering if I can post a bit of a rant about these thieves. Some info has crossed my desk lately. How true ? I dunno.

Surely some of you work or know someone employed with Hydro One/Ontario Hydro etc.

Maybe it's not something that should be exposed ? Let's start this with other opinions/hearsay first before I go all keyboard crazy.

I'd like to start with any rumours you've heard, then I'll confirm from some sources that brought this scam to my attention.

As long as it's in good taste and not riddled with a garbage mouth I don't see a big problem.. If it gets out of line I will delete it.. Non of us like what we are paying to Hydro from a corrupt Government .. So keep it factual and not just a blithering rant.. confuse

Nope, I'm all good Chuck. Just gonna go with what I see on my Bill, what I heard and some actual employees that seem to confirm a few things about how corrupt it has become.

Not hydro but,,,, on the news last night there was a report that when the Carbon Tax is implemented the HST will be added on top of it. We will be taxed on a tax. That's our government looking after the electorate. When we thought they were running out of things to tax they come up with lets tax the tax. Now they can start all over again.

And then they will add HST to the HST tax in an ever ending loop of tax fees.

Do we think enough people are fed up enough yet to make a change.. Will we remember this on June 18th 2018?? The trouble is with a new government we are in such a mess it will take at least 12 years of another government to get back out of the mess. All the whiners and special interest groups not even counting 75,000 unvetted Syrian refugees that we have been saddled with, will be entrenched voters for the liberals soon.. I personally don't feel or believe we will ever get out from under this kind of government as long as we have a three party system.  It is an impossible task to win a true majority government for the people..one party is always a spoiler for a true majority of electing a government for the people and they all know it ..

I work for OPG and we, as minions, do not make or effect the policy of the corporation.
Also, if we did have information and spread it on the internet or even tell friends, we would be subject to dismissal. So don't expect answers from OPG/Hydro One personnel as they pay the same on their bills as everyone else!

As if we don't put up with enough crap , this was in the Windsor Region news lately .

Ontario Provincial Police in Tecumseh are warning residents of a new phone scam.

Police say they received two separate reports on July 21 involving somebody representing themselves as a Hydro One employee. The fraudster advised customers that their accounts were in arrears and required immediate action to clear up by purchasing prepaid debit cards from a specific website and then providing the caller with the PIN number.

Police say any calls received that are believed to be a scam should be directed to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre by calling 1-888-495-8501 or visit www.antifraudcentre.ca. If you’re a victim of fraud linked to this scam, you can contact Tecumseh OPP at 519-723-2491.
