I'm going to have to replace my header gaskets sometime soon..... prob wait until end of season. Small leak. But I'm worried about broken bolts in my future so don't wanna touch it until later on.

What gaskets do you guys recommend?? Anyone try those 'dead soft' aluminum ones?? Says they're re-usable?

Yep had them on a few pairs of headers. They do seal and can be re-annealed to make them soft again

I have seen these gaskets you can buy which are super thick and are supposed to be able to handle pretty sloppy header flanges, mr white showed them to me awhile ago, being the sloppy leaky header king he is.

yes I would say, if they look almost too thick to be real then yes.

Cool thanks. Anyone happen to know off hand which gaskets i need for 993 heads, looks like lots of options/port sizes etc.??

I just installed Remflex on my Chev.
They work great.
I think I will re-torque them in a few days. Just to be sure.
