I was surprised to see the Thompson Products Old Guard derby car. I worked there and was a member of the Old Guard 26 years. Place just got bought out by the Japanese, now called T.H.K I think. Used to be a Global giant of a Company but not any longer.

I was also at the sale today. The owner and his wife were there and they were filming the sale for one of the shows episodes. Made some interesting buys and the prices I thought were good. Talking to one of the auctioneers at the end and he said that they were pissed at Grainger because he pulled several big items out that he had said were going to be in the sale saying that they were previously sold.

They must have needed a cash injection to the business.. I thought there was a lot of cool stuff I would have liked to been there.. How-ever I don't need to bring any more stuff home.. I am in the early stages of sorting and getting rid of all my stuff.. It's time in my life to get rid of stuff, sell the farm and head to town and get a smaller place . I am running out of smoke and My wife is needing a lot more of my time .. Getting old sucks.. I know they repop a lot of body stuff for us old fkers But the body work and painting after still doesn't help with all the scaring from replacing the parts.. And when you start replacing parts on us old turds it never ends.. Seems like the time I used to spend in the shop I now seem to spend that time in a waitng room for a scan, or blood test, or some other procedure.. Where did life go????

Admin getting tests beats the alternative of getting an autopsy.

We get dealt some pretty crappy hands in life, I know that for certain, but I am sitting here tonight trying to get my new grand daughter to finally fall asleep and think, at least for the moment, life is not so bad.

Other days not so much. Hang tough.

I hear ya guys, the past 9 years haven't been a cake-walk here but, like Offset, we too have a new Grand-daughter and that makes everything else fade to the back. Keep on keepin' on !
