As always Chuck you have a big heart brother....thanks for the great support....see you soon!!
I see it's for 5 pm this year !....that's a change .
It was supposed to be 5:00 PM last year too, but if you weren't there by noon, you ended up parking wwaaayyyyyy back. The reason for the 5pm start was that some of the businesses on the side street were complaining about customers not being able to get to their shops.

That's what I figured , after last year .........and I'll be there earlier than 5 because so will everyone else
For the record guys....since the very first one, it has always been a 5:00 start.......but over the years with more and more good folks coming out......I start seeing cars showing up by Thur night.......lol......but over all any spot is good......we are just so thankful for how everyone that comes out are so respectful of the event .......thank you all again from the ELTA brothers.
Well folks, some for the brothers were at the shop this morning getting things spruced up for there party. We're juuussst about ready! If you're coming on the Friday tour you should bring your own Mid-day eats (subway or whatever). There isn't that much time to stop somewhere and there isn't a place that could handle all of us at the same time. This is going to be a great day!
IT'S HERE FOLKS .. Southwestern On Gearhead event of the year..... Now !!!!!!Posters and where's-is all in the above posts.. It's pretty cool and a great time. Bring your self a lawn chair and some fluids or fruit to keep hydrated great things just seem to come around . Take a walk around, for sure tour the ELTA clubhouse..Leave the dog at home, it's not a great place for a dog . My dog loves a tour but would hate this event .. Mark and all the guys from the ELTA work hard all the time to either promote this show, or they are always out there supporting and helping all the other clubs in and beyond Ontario. They are a great group of guys who are role models to other rodders where ever they go..So come on out and have some fun and share some "comroddery" You will be glad in the morning..

X2 Chuck. Mark stopped by the shop yesterday and was filling us in on who and what cars are coming. Will be another fantastic event. Hurry up Saturday.
bump.. Some nasty weather predicted for Friday and possibly Friday night .. With all this heat and Humidity they are saying it will feel like 41 Friday afternoon and there is a possibility of severe storms so bring some clothes or a rain coat/umbrella to keep dry if it does.. Check your weather forecast and be pre-warned.. be safe and have a great time..

Hey Miss "T"-Bucket... Are you going to be bringing Snoopy to the Party??? I would be looking to meet you .. After all everybody here has been a part of Snoopy so we want to see a close up in person and meet you and the fella that rides shotgun with you.. .. How will we know you walking around .. Could you paint a snoopy tat on your arm or your Knee..We need to have a ORC meeting place .. I like to bring my lawn chair and get a seat in the shade across from Randal Kliene's furniture . It is looking like Sat is going to be a great day with cooler temps and no humidity.. Looking to have a great day.. Bring your camera so we can post a lot of pictures.

Well, we wuz there along with Chuck, Frank(58 Chev), Slim, and Rick(TMJ). Finally recognized Frank after talking with him for a bit. Saw someone wearing one of our T shirts walking down the street, so went out and introduced myself, only to find out he already knew me. Rick (TMJ)- sorry, bud. Dam this gettin old sucks.
Miss T Bucket..............Janice, didn't see you there, so gave money to Glenn (cat in a hat). He said he would pass it on to you.

The Bash was another huge success ........in terms of where the hell do you park the family car it's almost TOO successful . After I managed to find a spot somewhere near Sarnia .......I found out that one could park at Kellogg's this year ......how I was supposed to find that out beforehand is anyone's guess . Maybe next year . I arrived at 5 pm , the supposed Bash opening time , and the place was full already .
I ran into Rochie ( Wayne ) who told me there were 500+ vehicles there .....sure looked like it . I didn't get to walk around much to see and shoot most of the cars ....leg too sore .....but I did see Chuck and Frank ( 58 Chev ) and sat with them for a while in the shade .
.....a couple of ne'er-do-wells that the cops had to shoo away
Chucks sweet 48 Ford , 400 s.b . red on red
Nice 66 Charger 383
This Windsor region 57 Ford 300 , Cammer , is one of my favs.
Wish I could have got more pics . One of the highlights of the show , if you've never been , is firing up about 10 of the drag cars one by one , including a couple of alcohol powered monsters . They get your attention .
Well boys and girls, yep we did it again!!! 638 was a standing car count at 5:30 done by Al on his big wheel. We certainly appreciate all the support you people bring. The best place to view photos is at Fans of ELTA on Facebook. There's a bunch there already. See you next year and have safe travels!!!!

Gawd. That "T" shirt make's my butt, head, hell the whole body look fat.. i gotta start losing some meat.. But It was great to see some old friends Slim, 58 Chevy, TMJ, Parklane. and Glen Parklanes buddy, Teejay.. and others.. weather was comfortable, cars and people are great.. Poor Mark-"Fast-Elvis" was out for a bit but did make it later in the day.. Suffering one o them sciatic pinched nerves.. If you ever had it you know how painful that can be.. Thanks to the ELTA brothers for all the hard work and "commroddery" they create and practice for a great day..Their efforts are greatly appreciated by this fat guy..

Can't say enough good things about all the ELTA boys ( and girls ) .....they were everywhere , it seemed , meeting and greeting and keeping things ( traffic ) moving around . I would say that every visitor was spoken to and chatted with by the various ELTA reps . They provide a great atmosphere , much needed in this day and age . Car guys and gals are the best .
