Definitely weird. The current rage seems to be 40” wheels and one site says the tires are 315/1.5/40! No mention of what the tires are or who makes them (lots of electrical tape maybe?) but Pirelli, of all companies, was making the 30” tires and they still have a 28” on their website. YUCKKKKKK.
And then there is this idea , possibly using alcoholic beverages to help with the build !?
i could see that one happen just for the giggle effect. 4 old car guys standing around yakking it up, 1st guy says- bet you won't, 2nd guy says- bet you can't, 3rd guy says- i'd bet a couple of bucks you won't. the owner says- ok, how much bucks, if i do. lol
