First Try uploading pictures
Permalink

Hi everyone, thought I would try to upload a photo to give it a try.
I'm sorry I don't have a lot of photos of assembly I have since installed the front and rear glass, as mentioned in another post I'm looking to get some wheels and tires shortly.
still working on the box and rear fenders to attempt to get them to the painter for September.

Do you have to do the hood dance when closing yours? Do you have factory hood hinges?
Most of them you have to go side to side pushing the back of the hood down in steps.
Seems like a really really common issue from what I see on the facebook groups.

53-55 at least.. not sure if 56 was different or not.

First off thank you for all the positive comments, I wish I had more finishing pictures, I will add as I go!

Beans, I had the same factory hinges (new) and the painter could not work with them, same dance you speak of!! so I did not want to invest the time and stop the painter and ended up buying the real expensive Eddie Motor Sports ones, you could only guess! right when our $ was at its lowest, plus 3 weeks down time.

Oh and they look great, they are an improvement, but I will leave it at that! I will show you what I mean in person when I'm on the road.

Two friends of mine reversed the opening hood thing. One is a 55, other a 56. Solves that PIA hing thing.
