The Ford 4x4 has a lot of parts ..that milk truck and Comet are sure worth saving .. How come I never find good stuff just laying around on the side of the road.. Seems Like I always had to pull into somebody's laneway and overpay for some rust bucket I didn't need cry ..Doesn't look like my luck is gonna change soon..but it's getting easier to just drive by them..biggrin

Yep. that "milk truck" would make a cool delivery truck.

I see stuff all the time in my travels, 99% aren't for sale of course. I asked about an old panel truck sitting in a field 30 years ago and they were going to fix it.

It is still sitting there.disbelief

The Divco had a for sale sign on it last year.
The Comet is at the end of a driveway and has been there for more than a year.

It's another one of those things that looks really cool for a build.. But I just wonder why??? It sure doesn't seem like a practical cruiser for the average guy with a family..or for just cruzing around .. I am trying to think of a practical reason somebody would build one if it wasn't for a business advertising promo..I like the cool look but??? just sayn

maybe I'm not old enough to care about practical yet.
I'd drive that COE all over town no matter how not cruise friendly it might be....
(disclaimer - I've never driven a truck like that or even been in one)

you know if it wasn't slammed so low it would have more appeal to me as just an old truck. not much into slammers or hoppers, but, then again to each their own.

I'm with Janice on this one. I would be hauling ass all over town in that bad boy. The only thing I myself would change is the color. I need me some shine. I thought about something like this back when I was a car hauler. A truck like this (practical updated drive train) pulling a closed in 40' trailer would be very cool and people would remember you.

ya not bad at all for a more door Chuck that's for sure.

Cant imagine if its sitting in my driveway its only because Brock brought it by for a visit. no My back hurts just thinking about all the furniture I'd have to build to buy that.

And then there's these guys to worry about. With the nicer weather around the corner I already have a tendency to have a lead foot.

Whew , when you said your back would hurt to own one, glad you said it would be from making furniture !!

My first wife was a top sales lady at a chrysler dealership

Took great pride in knowing where the ash tray was in the back seat

Of every make and model !!!

IMG_4121.JPG      Here is a potential sweet ride I ran across last night on the way home from Goderich . If my adult kids didn't keep me so damn broke I would be thoroughly tempted  - could be a good resto or even better race rocket
