Hogtown Metal Shaping Meet 2016 (Toronto)

APRIL 16-17,  2016

The fifth annual Hogtown Meet will be held at my work place on the third weekend of April this year.

I will bring all my shaping equipment from home but we could always use more shaping stuff such as e-wheels, hammers, bags, stumps, etc.

E-wheels are extremely important and a few guys brought theirs last year. I appreciate the effort they took and it would be great if it could happen again.

I have manual shrinkers and stretchers and also the Baleigh power shrinker/stretcher to play with. We have enough TIG welders so we're OK there.

BBQ lunch will be served both days.
Both days we will get started at 9:00 AM and run until everyone's burned out.

The meet will be held in the Markham Road/Finch Avenue area in Scarborough. (Toronto)

If you have a large project let me know as the time gets closer, I can see if we can have enough space for everything.

If you wish to attend please reply to this thread so I have an idea of how many are coming.

2721 Markham Rd. #25
Scarborough, ON M1X 1L5

Thanks,

This is a great event if you have never been.
I went the last two years and Pugsy is one great host and full of knowledge.

Pugsy heating up a leaf spring so it can be bent to make a slapper.

OH, and a big hat off to the cook. biggrin

Thanks to all that showed up. We had about 15 on Saturday and 10 on Sunday. Not bad for the nicest weekend of the year thus far.

Some pics in no particular order:
