I recognize some of the names. Had my '40 Chev on the road since 1984. Have done oval track racing, radio control racing and into sports cars as well as my Chevy's. Have included some photos of them. Truck not quite as nice now, I enjoy driving it to much so getting closer to being my daily driver. The photo of the 65 Chevelle is on the dock at Santa Monica, the end of the Route 66 trip we took last May.

Hey: GMDAD...Welcome to this forum..Happy to have you and your input here..I had a forty Chevy way back in 69-70..Seems like we had almost the same colors..Hardest car I ever had to find body parts..until I built my 36 and it was just as bad...
I followed your Route 66 trip with great envy..I appreciated every picture and journal entry you made during the trip..Fantastic trip and wish I could do it but I think my window has passed for health issues.. I don't think my wife could make it now as her health is not good..But I was glued to your trip and thank you for sharing it with many of us..
