I am down like a little wimp..If yah see my mom tell her to bring some of that chicken soup..I have not been belly sick, but I have a really nasty sore neck and a headache that would crack a manifold..Never slept all night. I thought, I was gonna have to go to the hospital.. I don't ever recall a headache like this ..I am hoping for a better night..I think my neck is getting a little less tense..Thats what I have had a really sore neck, little hard to swallow, and a headache that feels like my head is in a vise.. but I do think it's a little better now that I have been sitting up for a bit and just had a nice hot bowl of home made crock-pot stu..you guys will have to hold the crowd for me..

Well looks like a trip to local hospital this morning..Two nights no sleep . extremely sore neck on the left side only ??? weird..I just can't find a sweet spot to get to sleep..*(&*(%%^**&(&^..that was a couple Islamic swear words..I need to get something for the pain in the neck..maybe should be carful using those Islamic swear words..I guess if I got beheaded that would cure the sore neck...

Saturday update.. I am in excruciating pain..Finally went to hospital yesterday as the pain in my neck is really grinding me down..I can't even look up to look at the screen..Seems like a week ago Friday I had gone to the hospital in London to have some surgery on my ankles..They had to grind a bit of bone for my arthritis..but on leaving the hospital in the parking lot I seen and elderly couple in distress trying to get somebody out of a car..I went to offer some assistance and found they had an older gentleman they were trying to get into a walker to take him into the hospital..He was on the ground wedged between the door and the rocker panel..He was a big guy with no use off his legs..Why they did not have him in a wheel chair, I do not know..anyway it turned into a huge process to lift him off the ground to get him into the walker and into the hospital.. It took everything I had to get him into the lobby..By the time I secceeded to get him in, I was soaked with sweat and my legs were just rubbery..I was exhausted for the week-end and then on Tuesday my neck was hurting a lot...I thought I was coming down with a sore neck and throat..I have not been able to sleep in bed for the last three night s..I was just thinking flue..after going to the hospital yesterday they tell they think I have a torn ligament in my neck ..and it will take as much as 14 days to get better.....They gave something called Mylan-Cyclobenzaprine..I thought it was feeling a bit better last night ..But, again as long as I am sitting up and don't move my neck or my lips even.. it is tolerable..However at night it gets way worse..I am unable to lay down as the pain will not subside it feels like sciatica ..I am sure many of U have had a sciatic nerve pain at some time or other..It feels just like that only in my neck..So please bear with me..I will get back to tweaking and tuning the board in a few days and hopefully soliciting for more members to grow us..but looks like I am just gonna lay low for a couple days..
Thank-you for your patience .I do hope this board will grow into a good place for Southwestern Ontario Rodders and car guys..As I said I am not a computer guru..so it takes me a few trys to change something..But I am bound to make this place a home for Rodders west of the GTA area.
Thank you to everybody who has signed on.. With your active participation I am sure we will do well and make some good friends that we can interact with up close and personal...

Hey:.. I am slowly getting better ..Should be almost "NORMAL" by the week-end.. Boy there was a couple nights I wished that grim reaper was here to pick me up..I would never have imagined that doing a good deed could hurt so much..I guess it takes longer to heal when your older than dirt. It is still damn sore but I only woke up about twice last night with pain..It's like one side of my neck does not like the muscle on the other side cause every time the healthy side turns he beats the hell out of the other side..If you ever woke up with a stiff crick in your neck it's much like that only worse for damn near two weeks..But it does seem to be getting better..
I sure appreciate that the board is slowly continuing to grow with a few new guys registering although not a lot of posting.. If you have registered please continue to speak up ..I can't be the only guy/girl to post. It will take a bit but I am pleased to say I think 15 people have registered. Not a lot of posting but I am not going anywhere. Seems to me that every hot-rod forum I have been part of has been basically from in and around either the GTA "Toronto" area or east of there , or in the USA. So although I have made many friends there has not been a lot of rodders from in and around London and Southwestern Ontario..I can't recall hardly meeting to many just plain and local guys that are rodders..There are quite a few guys that I see show up pretty regular at the "Zurich bean fest" the ELTA summer bash witch is a must do" and several other shows, from St Thomas, Woodstock, Bothwell, Goderich, to name just a few..I would like to be able to get some more guys even just for some short summer cruise's.. I am not much of a sit and park guy .I would rather moving, at my age I am afraid if I sit still to long the grim reaper will catch up to me..I think it would be much cooler to have a once or twice a week a bit of a cruise even just some hr drives or some such thing as opposed to sitting in a hot asphalt parking lot.. I believe there enough things and points of interest locally to do just that..
I personally would like to say thank-you to everybody that has registered .. I should be able to get more time on here by next week. so I am still trying to set this board up to be as user friendly as possible and try to include not only rodders. I think we are either mostly a lot of grey beards or bald guys and some times we either ignore or beat up on the "Tuner" guys..I remember waay-back when I was a little puppy rodder or "butcher" as a lot of the restorers used to call me. There were not a lot of rodders around when I was a kid.. So I am opening an area of the board in the hopes we all get along..In this economy and time I hope we can create a bridge that we can all build..Thank-you for your help..I am always open to suggestions that will help build a little friendly place for everyone to hang out.. Have some fun, meet some new people, share some commroddery, have a warm place to chew on just about anything that helps, to either get it off your chest or share it with the rest..about the only thing that will not be allowed is any personal attack chit..I ask if you have a real bitch with somebody please resolve it by using PMs and not drag everybody into it..I have had my share of keyboard wars and they do nothing to enhance the quality of the board..I have no intension of arbitrating personal disputes, attacks, or bullying..There will no tolerance for it..I will just delete your account if you are unable to keep personal attacks or key-board-rage...I am pretty slack about rules but these are non negotiable and will have zero tolerance..Everybody should feel comfortable to ask a question or make a comment with-out fear of been beaten up by a keyboard warrior..So Lets all get along or if you have an issue with a post just move on to another post and don't throw any fuel into the post you don't like..Thank-you I want everybody to find a home here..
One more thing: I am LEARNING TO FIGURE MY WAY AROUND TO SET THE BOARD UP so please give a little time to get it.. I am dumber than a garden hose so Give me a little space I will get it, meanwhile the board is up, usable, and growing..THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HAS REGISTERED ..

I feel a bit like I am just talking to my self here.. Oh well, I have had 2 good nights with my neck. Feeling much better ..I wished somebody would shoot me for a couple nights ..That was the most pain I can remember in a long time. It was like a cramp/charley-horse in my neck that just would not go away...Just a little stiff now..

Ha Ha..Not to stiff anymore , at least not to often..I am like Willie Nelson I outlived it ..I wish it was an extra hand now,I could make better use of it. ..Well, we have about 15 registered members, but not a lot of posting. But that's O.K. by me I am in no hurry to have to many..I need to learn how to modify and tune this board, so no big hurry on my part..I just know that any boards I have been part off are always with great guys & rodders ,but not many this side of GTA...So we never seem to be actually close enough to ever get together ..It would be great to have more local guys sharing and chatting closer to home..London & area has a lot of rodders/carguys/..... are you over near St.Thomas..or in the London area.? I am near St.Marys but not in St.Marys about 12ks west..just off Highway 23.. Parklane (John) lives in St.Thomas ..He is great guy and a good friend..Another one of the guys that signed on is up between London and St.Thomas I have forgotton his name he is the prez of some club of 25 guys he spoke of in his bio or Intro.Sounds like a good guy and they have about 25 members ..Interesting I will have to search back and see where he was from and the name of his car club..
He uses the board name..Mightymouse and is from summers corners..I think that's up towards St.Thomas..
