200r4, 700r4 and th350 Lokar shifter differences

Does anyone know if there are very different designs in the Lokar shifters for each of the transmissions? I'm asking because I may go with a Lokar or American Shifter for my 200r4, but 200r4 model shifters are harder to come by, so I can't find them as cheap as ones for 350s and 700s.  Might they interchange and do you know FOR SURE either way?

The shifter mexhanism's are the same .It is the way they mount that is different. I am using a 700r4 shifter on my 2004r in my 34 chev truck .have to fabricate some brackets to mount on the 2004r

Thanks - that is exactly what I needed to know. Now if I find a 700 for really cheap, I could jump on it, but I wouldn't bother if the price was more comparable.  Cheers

I had bought a Lokar for a th350 but then picked up a 700r4.

Lokar does sell a kit that supplies the mounting brackets and new knob for the shifter.

I don't recall what this cost me as it was a number of years ago.
