One of my son's and I just finished cleaning up a little vineyard which we have and now I'm on to the next project.
We have an 18' X 32' above ground pool, hot-tub off the deck attached to the rear of the house and a 10' X 20' poolhouse I built from garage door sections, re-cycled lumber and re-purposed storm windows and plywood panel doors. I'll try to post a pic later. There is also a fire-pit.
Last summer I poured 2 - 8' X 12' slabs at 90' to each other, in preparation for building a shed in our rear yard. I'll be pouring another 8' X 8' area where the rear end walls meet, taking out the end walls to create one " L " shaped shed,
The outdoor area where the sheds are going in will have at least a 4 hole mini-putt with gardens and a water hazard. When we rebuilt our family room last year I made provisions for Gas and a separate Hydro circuit for the sheds/poolhouse, so there'll be heat when wanted.
The sheds will have a built-in Skee-ball ( on one 20' long back wall), my 1960's Master Sega slot machine, pinball machine, an outdoor counter to sit up to on stools for lunch and so on. The entire idea is to give our Grandchildren a recreation area from an earlier time - a time I remember fondly, lol. Think County Fairs, Crystal Beach or the Arcade at Sauble.
I'll try to get some pics posted but it'll take some finagling, my phone won't talk to my PC. As the summer goes and I get work done I'll see what I can figure out though.
After this project is done I'll be building 4 more sheds along my back drive. One as a bunkie for the grand-kids to camp out in, three for storage. All Western Front style. Two will be 10' X 10' and the other two 8' X 12'
Well folks, the additional concrete was poured, walls up, 4 windows and 2 doors installed and roof shingled. Trench ( stepped depth so I can put gas and hydro in the same trench) is dug, hydro in and back-filled to first step. Awaiting my gas Tech to do that install.Sill need to trim and side it.
I picked up a 1973 Gottlied Hot Shot ( billiards theme) 4 player locally in original condition. Did a little cabinet repair on the under-side, scrubbed the outside, cleaned the play-field and replaced all the rubbers. Tweaked a couple relays......and it works like a charm. Just need to replace a few bulbs still.
I sure picked a hot summer to do this, good thing we have a pool.
I'll have to borrow my wife's phone for some pics as mine is useless.
.......now, back to your regular programming........
