We've had three this winter for upgrades. Usually 5-6 hours and always through the supper time. Generator back up is awesome. Hate to miss Ellen????????????????
Hey Junior, I contacted Gen-er-Link about buying an adapter but when we checked with our Provider they said it isn't compatible. I guess we'll just have to stick with the welder plug.

I contacted a electrical contractor near us. They had a little difficulty locating one but they got one. They set it up with Hydro One and did the permit with the inspector. They said the inspector didn't have to come out as they are an approved contractor. The hole change over took 10-15 minutes TMJ

Your Hydro provider? Matchless Contact Vector Electric,he'll come and do it. He holds all Electrical Tickets required to do all in the Trade. They carry them in stock. 519 773 5533

These will double the length of the Meter;if your area is confined between houses some places will not allow them .
