Doug

You should talk to the guy at the ELTA. I think they have a pretty good handle on everything car related around there. I read your into, welcome. This post should have been posted in parts wanted. You'd probably get a better response.

My first car was a one owner 13 year old '55 two door Canadian car. I also had another '55 a few years ago but got rid of it when I downsized to move.
There is a guy from Thorndale he is or was I think a Dairy farmer. He is or was right into Pontiac's and had a few 55-56's.
He had some parts cars too. This was from quite a few years ago.
Thorndale fall fair is next month. They have a car show at the fair. This guy I think used to organize the car show.
Someone in charge of the show should know him. That's where I would start looking for parts.
Take a look at the link.  http://www.thorndalefair.com/lions-car-show/

In 1962 I bought a 1955 Pontiac 2 door hardtop. Relatively new car for a teenager and I struted like a pea****. It had the six/automatic, but it was a nice way to go to school. I always have loved Pontiacs, the 1961 Ventura or Bonneville being my favorite, but I would love a 55 or 56 wagon, Canadian or American for a tow car for the Bantam.
