Has anyone noticed how quiet Kijiji classic car section is. There was only 156 vehicles in total in London. The time of year is partly why but I have never saw it this slow.

Worst time to sell is winter. Guys get the itch when the sun comes out and the birds start chirpin'

I agree with the time of year but there is a big drop in the number of cars posted. I've been watching the numbers for about 5 months now.
Early last fall or late summer there was around 5500-6000 classic car ads posted in Ontario.

Just when I want to sell a great little car the demand washes out! That my friends is my luck all over again.

Check out facebook. I think facebook market place is taking a big bite out of kijiji. It's growing quite quickly. Easier to communicate with buyers/sellers too. Feels a little safer because it's a little less anonymous. It does something interesting too - if you post an item in a group you belong to - facebook uses that to populate the marketplace - if doens't just stay for sale only in your group. I'm seeing cars for sale on facebook that I don't see on kijiji and vice/versa.
