Whats a Muncie worth?

I have the transmission that came with my 1968 Camaro. Its apparently rebuilt, but I havent pulled the cover yet to find out.

I can get the exact numbers but it is not a M22 for sure.

Whats a rebuild one of these going for now days? Anyone looking to buy one?

Thanks a lot

Check Ebay. Usually overpriced but there are many and priced between $1000 and $5000, generally in the mid teens. Mostly new or rebuilt. I think T5s have replaced the 4 speed market.

It's worth $$$ to the "right guy". If restoring your Camaro, keep it. If not like Warren said that's usually what they go for Ben.

For what it's worth I had a mid seventies M20 Muncie that worked fine (I drove the car it was in for a few days) I had it for sale for six months with little interest and finally sold it for $650.00

Thanks for the replies. I figured as much. Ive seen them for like you guys said 1500 or so but they never seen to sell. The $650 you sold yours for seems more reasonable.

Im not restoring the car back to stock, and the M20 wouldnt handle a twin turbo ls anyways. I need body steel more than the trans now anyways.
