Politics is such a blood sport and people get so twisted out of shape on the subject .. Not sure how much it should be here.. I am ok with it as long as there is no violence or nasty personal attacks.. O.K.
Having said that .. I wish him well. Ontario is long overdue for a honest , sane decent premier.. I wish a quick and sudden death to Orville Wynne.. and anything she touched.. I am so sick of that horseface..douche-bag in my view the Liberals have done nothing that has made Ontario a better safer place to live and work or have our kids educated if your a Canadian.. Now if your a refugee from a terrorist country landed here both Wynne and trudogh have made you feel like you have won the 72 virgins and landed in heaven at the rest of Canada's expense.. You will come first for education, housing, health care, housing, welfare, dental care, and any other social funds they can find for you .. Get in trouble with the law.. no problem we pay for a lawyer to get off, and give some compensation for hurting your feelings.. The khadr family can fill you in on the details on where to apply for anything you need or just want from this liberal government,, you don't have to need it .. just ask, some dipchit liberal politician will be glad to make that happen.. We don't salute our flag ,or say the lords prayer, or have any respect for teachers, police, firemen, We don't celebrate Christmas or any other Christian holidays anymore be we will celebrate all the muslim holidays you want us too and provide special prayer rooms for you, if I missed something just ask a liberal out there, that party will find a way to get you what ever you want.. Sorry if your a Canadian citizen there is not much we can do help you no matter that you paid outrageous taxes to Canada all your life and your family s did also.... Now that's where Mr Doug Ford, I pray will bring us back to days before the Liberals Federal and Provincial ..immigration policies, wind turbines, green energy and insane waste in hydro, gas plants scandals, and the pan scam games, to put us into a huge debt.. Now she is hiding all the really bad debt until after the June election.. we used to have hospital rooms if you had to have an operation until the liberals totally destroyed that system with the Orange scandal, the health care electronic filing system, the lies, cover ups.. you name it I am sure I have missed billions of dollars in scandals Just my opinion ...So three cheers for Doug Trump.. Lets MOGA.. Make Ontario Great Again.. I wish Doug Ford and All of Ontario a good result from this tumultuous election..
I don't think Doug is anything like the Donald.. He is much more composed and quieter , I support him and will be on the street busking and hustling for him.. Sure hope he does not let us down.. Patrick brown turned into a weasel, and I had made the mistake to support him.. I am glad we had this opportunity to get rid of him before we went through another election with that little weasel. I am personally going to pray for Doug and hope he does a good job for the province.. I wish and hope he does turn out to be more like Trump.. Lots of people don't like Trump but I think he is best president of US of my life time.. Thats my opinion and my view and I am entitled to both with out any personal attacks on me.. every one can have an opinion and nobody should be running anybody down or name calling anybody for their opinion.. I have to agree with you on the Lieberals. I was really disapointed on the procedings yesterday. I thought that after the Patrick Brown thing and the Hudak fiasco in past elections they would finally get their sh-- together. I was hoping anyway. We will just have to wait and see. Being a Chevvy guy it will be a sacrifice to vote for a FORD. As far as the waste of taxpayers dollars by Winnie the Shrew just wait and see what she comes up with in the upcoming budget. You can bet there will be major bucks spent in Toronto.
Doug Trump has probably handed the Liberals a minority win. I'll be voting for the party that's supports the middle class... NDP. As far as Trump being the best president Wow. Dumped Obama care and was to replace it with 'something wonderfull' and has done nothing. How would we like that in Canada On top of that he is a liar and has no morals. in my view

Hope I didn't start a civil war here. Only other thing I want to add here is that it's a shame that Elliott will not back Ford, and is trying to start a $hit fling here. Kind of reminds you of Hillary doesn't it. Makes me feel warm and gushy all over more than anyplace else. My better half & I bought memberships for the PC party, and must say that it was the best $20. we've spent in a looong time.

A couple of things. First politicians of all stripes keep pushing us towards electronic voting. I think we got to see just how that works or in this case does not work so well. It is a shame, really is, that the convention could not have gone smoother. The party owns that one not Doug Ford and hopefully they will move quickly past it. Hopefully Christine Elliott will jump in with both feet to run again and support the new leader, I suspect she would be rewarded and rightfully so. She has much to offer to the running of Ontario.
I find it interesting those who bash Trump. I don't think they still understand what he is and how he managed to become the President of the United States. He is not, nor will he ever be a politician. Some say he is unequally unqualified for the job and that could be true but those same people usually cannot nor are they willing to make the same argument about Trudeau. Trump has accomplished much in his life, yes there have been set backs, people pissed off at him and his company but still he has been successful. Please enlighten me on exactly what Trudeau has accomplished? Without his last name he would not be where he is today and that for Canadians should be troubling.
I would trade our Prime Minister for the President in a heart beat.
Those who hate Trump I have to ask what exactly do you hate about him? He has lowered taxes, he has brought back manufacturing, jobs that others said would never return, he is pro police and armed forces, he is in favor of the growth of the country by controlled immigration, he offered DACA people an opportunity to stay, he is hard on criminals and people illegally in the country who have committed and continue to commit criminal acts. For years past Presidents have kicked the North Korean can down the road. Trump is meeting with them. Yes sometimes he says things that make me cringe but, I appreciate how straight forward he is. I am willing to concede that if his opponent in the Presidential race had not been such an undesirable person he may not have won at all.
The one thing I believe he made a serious error in judgement on, was the appointment of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General. He is useless and a lot of people who should be on trial for collusion and corruption probably never will be thanks to his incompetence.
Just my two cents worth and if you do not agree that is not a problem. We all have opinions and those should be respected.

i pretty much agree with this. the people i talk to down there, business reasons, say he is not doing anything he didn't say he was going to do, so far. as for sessions appt he is doing what all business men with a position do, surround themselves with like minded people who usually agree. you never know but, maybe putin help give us ford for a candidate, wonder if he does any business over there with that family company of his. be careful, similar/stranger things have happened in very recent history. lmao
