Thanks for letting me join.

I have done some restoration on some cars through the years. Self-taught but love to learn more. Now for a big project in my books at least. A 1937 Chevrolet.

Hope I can help others as much as I'll be asking for help.

Thanks for reading

Mike

Welcome Mike from South River.

I'm surprised your 37 is wood framed as well. Lots of good brothers in here to give advice/ guidance to replace with steel.

Enjoy.

Hi: That wood in your truck looks interesting, Hard to tell from the posted pictures but, Is that an actual 37 pick-up or has somebody made a sedan into a pick-up? I have owned a couple of those over the years as well a couple 36 Chevy's ..I never seen a 37 with wood.. Also the wood that I can see does not look like factory wood in that body..Looks like somebody put that wood in that truck. I would like to see a 10 footer of that car to get a better over view. It just doesn't look like factory to me .. I had to replace wood in a couple of those old Chevy's and the wood in yours is quite different looking.. Like to see some more further back pictures..

Thanks for joining us..

My guess would be it was a sedan delivery someone turned into a pickup. could of been done during the war years. Lots of wood not much spare metal.
