There is a young guy at work here who was in the import crowd for a while with sponsors etc, doing the big shows. He has given that up and has a pretty kool hobby of making costumes for Halloween. He has asked me many a question about bodywork , metal work and painting. A couple years ago I said he should join Ontario Rodders(which he did) so he could go to the Metal shaping meet with Pugsy. He has done this and has been taught by Pugsy at the meet. He is currently working on a costume that is more like a suit of armor and was asking me about painting it in my shop. He showed me a video of himself working the metal with tools he learned how to use at the metal shaping meet. I told him that we need to get him on this site so you guys can see what he is doing. It 's not cars but he's using the same tools and he is really good at making these costumes.
Hi Rich: just tell him to register and I will pull a few strings with the guy who can open the door and let him in.. Thats all it takes..go to registration.. and send me a check...
