Hello, my name is Jamie. Just a car guy that likes to drive a little. I built a 29 roadster pickup that hit the streets back in 09. Driven it coast to coast. It's a simple little truck that we have fun in. Getting ready to build my next hotrod so thought I better get in tune with the guys that know how to do it.
Looking forward to meeting you guys and getting back into the local car scene.
Hey! Welcome. I'm from courtice, I haven't seen this car around!! Looks awesome. I drive a red 53 Mercury truck around, not sure if you've seen it around?
Beans we are building a 29 rat rod, it belongs to my neighbor, I am a retired millwright, truck driver and back yard mechanic but have also built a couple of fast cars and it was time for something different and I do look forward to talking to all of you's Happy Canada Day
Beans, I won't be using any of the rolling chassis. Would like to try and sell it all complete. Time will tell. Waiting on my new chassis, until then it's all staying together. I will keep you in mind though.
Hi Jamie. Weren't you one of the group that went to the 32 reunion in Victoria in 2010, with Clarke, Roachie, Bill King, and me?? I was driving the 'chase' truck that year. Good to have you here.

Welcome to the Forum Jamie, from the North shore of Lake Erie..and I might ad that is Great choice you have made there Re " new rod with a roof " !! IMO,..there isn't too much out there that makes a nicer little street rod than a non butchered / non chopped, 29 /31 Model A, full fendered 2 door coach.Good luck with the build and keep us posted.
This was the last one that I built from the frame up.

Greetings from Trenton. That coast to coast run must have been fun. Have done that a few times, but always had a 48' or 53' trailer chasing me and no time to stop and enjoy. Hope someday to change that. Did you do it alone or with a group?
