About 7-10 years ago when I had a job there was a guy that owned one of those two wheel drive bikes. He lived in St.Thomas and worked in north east London. It's about 20or so miles. He would ride that POS winter and summer. It was like watching someone with a death wish when it was snowy. TMJÂ
I figure it's one of 4 things:
1) He likes motorcycles a lot,
2) He gave his nice warm car/truck to his loving wife.
3) His wife took him for everything he had and that's all he got left or
4) He's tired of her $hit, he's leaving with all his prized possessions and I bet his dog is in the side car!

Numbers 1 to 4 sound like the start of a country and western song. The idiot at work that I used to see was a menace to the road. He couldn't drive the speed the cars were going on a slippery road because he was almost out of control all the time. The cars had to try to get around him, was like passing 3 bicycles riding abreast on a two lane road. Then add snow just to make it interesting.

No dog in sidecar thank god. So even if his wife was a dragon, glad the dogÂ
had enough smarts to stick with the devil you know and not risk that trip.😂

Many years ago, there was motorcycle races on the frozen Hamilton harbour. They wrapped chains around the tires or had studs sticking out.
Don't want to get off the original track but. A buddy of mine that lives behind me goes ice racing on bikes. They use studed tires on the two wheeled bike. He also races with what they call a sideHACK. It's an extra wheel on the right side. They run solo or with a passenger and the tires on these are shredded no studs. They have to race in Michigan because you can't do that here in the land of NO. TMJÂ
