I'm considering taking the family ice fishing so I thought I'd throw out the question to the experts.

I'd prefer something with a cabin to sleep in and heated hut(s) for the day or some combination of both.

I'd rather be catching Walleye but the I'd settle for any sport fish.

Within 2 hours or so from Newcastle would be good.

Try Haliburton….Boshkong or 12 Mile Lake. A few rental places there and good fishing.
