This is probably way out there but,,, I gotta ask.
Would a 1991 350 GMC full size van Y pipe actually bolt into a 1993 GMC V6 1/2 ton ?
I've heard of weirder things. If I didn't have a new Stainless Y pipe stashed for the Van (that's getting scrapped in the spring) and the pick-up that needs one (that will also be scrapped if I gotta drop big cash on it) I wouldn't ask.
go on-line and cross vehicle / model # in the Walker exhaust "E"- catalogue , that should provide you with an accurate indication of what can be done exhaust wise
Thanks Chuck. Looks like it's a very possible thing ? I don't have benders and such here to play.
Odd you come up with stuff, yet my Supplier guys can't.
You may have saved the beater truck from rattling your windows on my way to Robsons every now and again. Ha !
I ran out of room here, so it's in the back 40. I hope it survives the winter. Super solid, so I'm not really concerned, just yet. Did all the brakes and lines etc about a year ago. Those fancy carbon fibre thingy lines and what not.
Thanks again. I'm gonna give it a whirl in the Spring. Worst case is Robsons if the old girl doesn't fair out.
It kind of mess's up the whole page so I am going to delete it.. But walker list 88 to 93 Chev Van and Pickup v8 and v6 as the same "Y" pipe.. If you need the info later I have it in my online walker catalouge..
