Hi Henry.  Seems like you might have gotten some water into the control panel in the door of the machine.  On mine you can take it apart from the inside of the machine.  That is what happened to one of mine anyway.  For the one we have now, the service guy suggested we run the hot water in the sink until it is hot then turn on the dishwasher as the booster in the unit will only heat the water an additional 10-15 degrees so if the water has been sitting in the pipes for a while it will be cold and can not be boosted enough.
