I bought a chevelle hood a few months back from a guy near Belleville- I am a few hrs away so I contacted Rick Shaughnessy  (shag766)to go look at it to make sure it was a nice hood.I have talked with Rick on the phone before and exchanged emails but have never met him until this morning.Well Rick went and looked at the hood-I paid for it and Rick  picked it up and stored it for me at his place. He has quite the assortment of vehicles and it felt like we have known each other for years-could of shot the breeze for hrs-we loaded the hood into the truck then he asked me if I wanted  to buy another one-so back in the barn-and out comes another hood,He is a great guy and has some great stories.Look forward to making the 2 1/2 hr trek again to see Rick and all his Ford/Mopar/Chevy(and other makes) vehicles and the donkeys of course!!!Had a great day Rick!!!!

Keep on Cruising!!!

Dave

That is what it is all about. Sounds like both of you had a great day.

Funny how car guys can meet each other and in 2 min or less become the best of friends.

I have not met Rick but have spoken to him on the phone and had him pick up a KIJIJI item out his way.
He was kind enough to supply the ride for the part with one of his drivers (for a modest fee).
Good guy for sure.
