Finally got the rest of the lights up in my shop. There are eight 8 foot tandems and six four footers for a total of 44 four foot T8 tubes. No more dark areas now!!

Thanks for the comments guys. I put up the lighting on one side of the shop two years ago when I built the shop but the second side had to wait as it just wasn't in the budget with everything else going on. I didn't check the pricing on the LED lighting recently as I wanted the second side to match the first side I did. Two years ago LED's were toooo much money for me. I have six tandem 8 footers (24 four foot T8's) in the attached garage and they work good in there. They all have the deflectors/reflectors over them which IMO help considerably.

Here is the outside lighting. Bought these years ago when the prices on them was reasonable. I have them on timers and I think 7 watt LED bulbs that give an amazing amount of light.
nice job on the Interior - my suppliers at work tell me the T-8 will be going the same direction as the T-12's but they do cast a nice light and there is no ballast hum/ dull light on cold start ( instant on )you'll like them till LED's are affordable

Everything is always changing. LED'S were just a stupid price two years ago. I didn't even price them this time as I wanted them to match. Maybe T 8's will outlast me.
Reminds me of the last shop I built the building inspector said "you know those pole type building's are only good for about 30 years.
My reply was "so at 90 I'll have to put up a new building? '' .
TMJ,
if you're coming to the ELTA bash please hunt me down and introduce yourself OK? You're too close for me (Byron) to not know who you are. I will be at my usual post on Saturday…right on Dundas and Nightingale welcoming people to the bash.
